Walden
Federal's Overdraft Privilege Service is a discretionary
service
especially designed for our
Checking Account Customers¹.
No documents to sign, the service is
already a part of your checking account agreement with us. With a
few exceptions, most of our checking account types are eligible for

There is no fee for this service unless
you use it. If you use our Overdraft Privilege Service we will
charge our normal non-sufficient funds fee of $32.00 for each overdraft
transaction you initiate. We will charge our normal NSF fee
whether we pay your overdrafts or return them unpaid to the merchant or
payee. So, it is always better for you and less expensive if we
can pay your overdrafts and save you from the embarrassment and
expensive merchant or payee return check fees.
Payment of your occasional and inadvertent
overdrafts up to your assigned Privilege limit of $800.00(most personal
checking accounts) or $1500.00(most business checking accounts) will
normally be considered. Your assigned limit includes our normal
NSF fees. Remember,
this service is for occasional overdrafts, and we are not obligated to
pay any of your overdrafts regardless of whether we have previously paid
