Walden Federal's Overdraft
Privilege Service is a discretionary Overdraft Privilege Service
especially designed for our
Checking Account Customers¹.
You do not have to apply for this
service and you do not need to sign any additional documents for the
service. It is already a part of your checking account agreement
with us. With some exceptions, most of our checking accounts types
are eligible for this service. Click here for our full

If you do not use this service it costs you
nothing. If you use our Overdraft Privilege Service we will charge
our normal non-sufficient funds fee of $32.00 for each overdraft
transaction you initiate. We will charge our normal NSF fee
whether we pay your overdrafts or return them unpaid to the merchant or
payee. So, it is always better for you and less expensive if we
can pay your overdrafts and save you the embarrassment and very
expensive merchant or payee return check fees.
Payment of your occasional and inadvertent
overdrafts up to your assigned Privilege limit of $800.00(most personal
checking accounts) or $1500.00(most business checking accounts) will
normally be considered. Your assigned limit includes our normal
NSF fees. Remember,
this service is for occasional overdrafts, and we are not obligated to
pay any of your overdrafts regardless of whether we have previously paid
