Walden Federal Introduces CampusDoor

Student Loans

August 20, 2007, Walden, NY – Walden Federal has introduced the CampusDoor Student Loan Program, announced Thomas Gibney, President.

The CampusDoor Alternative Loan is a private (non-government) education loan that can cover up to 100% of the cost of college attendance (minus other financial aid).

“With college expense already very high and on the rise, many students and families need an affordable, convenient source of additional funds,” stated Thomas Gibney, President. “When scholarships, grants and other sources of financial aid fall short, Walden Federal’s CampusDoor is an excellent alternative.”

Walden Federal’s CampusDoor offers loan amounts up to $250,000 or the total cost of attendance.  Interest rates are as low as Prime minus 0.5% for well-qualified applicants.  The program offers a 12-month grace period after graduation before the loan enters repayment to allow recent graduates to get on their feet financially before they need to begin to make loan payments.  There is up to 0.5% discounts available for on-time and direct e-payments.  Online decisions are available 24 hours/day, seven days a week.  Full details are available on line by visiting www.waldenfederal.com or at any Walden Federal branch.

Walden Federal maintains five full-service branches including Walden, Montgomery, Otisville, inside the Wal-Mart Super Center in Monroe and inside the ShopRite in Monroe.  The bank’s sixth branch on Rte 52, in the Town of Newburgh, will open in September. Walden Federal’s Mortgage and Loan Center is located at 74 West Main St, Walden and its Commercial Loan Annex is located at 8 Main St.

Walden Federal continues to prosper and grow as it enters its 88th year of service to the community.  For more information, visit www.WaldenFederal.com or call 845-778-2171.
