Walden Federal Introduces

Online Banking Enhancements

 

 

Walden, NY, April 1, 2009 – Walden Federal has implemented several enhancements to its online eBank service, today announced Tom Gibney, President.

 

Customers can now set up alerts for their Walden Federal eBank accounts and have email or text messages sent to their computers or cell phones.  Alerts can include notification that an account balance has reached a specified level, or notification of deposits or withdrawals.  Alerts are sent within 24 hours of the triggering event.  There is no charge for this alert service.

Online eStatements are now also available to Walden Federal eBank customers.

 

Currently eStatements are available for the past 8 months of activity and will eventually be available for a year.  eStatements open in a PDF type format, and can be printed or exported to Quicken or Excel.  They have a built in reconciliation feature that provides the tools that customers need to reconcile their checkbook.  Customers can click on any check, and an image of the check (front and back) will open, which can also be printed.  Customers can also select to view all checks on the statement at once, and can print front, back or both, and select different size images.

 
Each month customers receive an email at the address they have on record with Walden Federal’s eBank notifying them that their online statement is available.  eStatements are available within a day or two after the end of the month, which is faster than when statements are mailed. There is no charge for eStatements at Walden Federal.

 

Walden Federal maintains six full-service branches including Walden, Montgomery, Newburgh, Otisville, inside the Wal-Mart Super Center in Monroe and inside the Shoprite in Monroe.  Walden Federal’s Mortgage and Loan Center is located at 74 West Main St, Walden and its Commercial Loan Annex is located at 8 Main St, Walden.
